- Account Information: Name, email address, business name, and payment information when you create an account.
- Business Information: Your business name, address, Google Business Profile link, and review platform URLs.
- Customer Data: Names, phone numbers, and email addresses of your customers that you add to ReviewSimple for review requests.
- Communications: Information you provide when contacting our support team.
Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: How you interact with our platform, including pages visited and features used.
- Device Information: Browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
- Log Data: IP address, access times, and referring URLs.
SMS/Text Messaging Privacy
Mobile Information Protection
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except as required to provide the SMS messaging service (such as our SMS provider, Twilio).
All categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties for their marketing purposes.
How SMS Data is Used
- To send review request messages on behalf of our business clients
- To process opt-out requests (STOP commands)
- To respond to HELP requests with support information
- To maintain delivery records for compliance purposes
SMS Data Retention
Phone numbers and SMS consent records are retained only as long as necessary to provide the service and comply with legal requirements. When a user opts out (texts STOP), their opt-out preference is permanently recorded to prevent future messages.
Email Communications Privacy

Email addresses will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We use Resend as our email service provider to deliver messages on behalf of our business clients. Email addresses are used solely for the purposes described in this policy.
Types of Emails We Send
- Review Request Emails: Sent to your customers on your behalf asking for feedback
- Transactional Emails: Account confirmations, password resets, billing receipts
- Service Notifications: Important updates about your account or our service
Email Opt-Out
End users who receive review request emails can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email. This immediately stops all future marketing and review request emails.
Transactional emails (account-related, security alerts) cannot be opted out of while you maintain an active account.
CAN-SPAM Compliance
All emails sent through ReviewSimple comply with the CAN-SPAM Act, including clear sender identification, accurate subject lines, physical mailing address, and easy opt-out mechanisms.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:

- Send review request messages to your customers on your behalf
- Process payments and manage your subscription

Service Providers

Access and Update
You can access and update your account information through your dashboard at any time.
Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@getreviewsimple.com. We will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.
SMS Opt-Out
End users who receive review request messages can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. This immediately stops all future messages.
Email Communications
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email. You cannot opt out of transactional emails related to your account.
Third-Party Links
Our service may contain links to third-party websites (such as Google Business Profile, Yelp, etc.). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
Children's Privacy
ReviewSimple is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected information from a child, we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of ReviewSimple after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
